I do not see any personal attacks by DSNUT towards choose. They seem to be having a discussion, Those are allowed here on the forums.

I found it for you Ron now I know why your so confused.
650cc + 4.61 = quickest ever confirmed stock bore
800cc + 4.71 = Rocket factory win
650cc + 77 hp + nitrous = Rocket Factory win
I think you guys call that wood

Formulas hard to compute when you have to factor in tires, tracks, gearing and other factors it takes to configure times.

I agree, more variables than just hp and weight.

power to weight is a good theory, but what about WHERE the weight is, for example, bike A has front tires that weigh 2pounds less than bike B. Bike B has a flywheel that weighs 2 pounds less than bike A. All else being identical which will be faster?

Where the weight is and peak power are both problems with this formula. A 80 n/a engine will not have the same torque curve as a 60hp engine with 20 hp of nitrous even if they make the same peak hp.

Just cant help myself!! Scott more power to you and with your future records you will accomplish!!! Just not understanding how you will take a stock bore to the 3.7s?? Is their any organized race that clarifies stock bore non OEM chasis but altered stroke, with power adders such as NOS in same class, as stock bore, stroke?? If so what is the current record times? I honestly beleive Hpresearch is not under the impression that they are the record holders log book!! Just simply keeping records and sharing in the community current time slips!! Just as planet sand does and many many many others do! For anyone to believe one has the record for such a class their needs to be a set standard besides a 300foot race with a time slip!! Anyone can call it record, just because its posted on atv connection does not mean its gold!! Their is alot of doubt about DSNUTS calcs, fair!! What about the records then?? we are talking time slips here not a point A to point B race clearly there is a winner in such a race?? In any professional race their are standards, head wind, track conditions, when was time machine last calibrated?? Sure their are many more standards?? I really beleive that if anyone does not think Dsnut does not understand tire size ,weight, gearing , and all other argumentive ideas considered in his thoughts you really, really need to check yourself!! Seems to be alot of jump on the wagon against him, but yet no one can argue point vs point based on facts to show his being wrong?? I do know that every record was met to be broking, and we all would like to be the record breaker, some more than others! with information giving on build to brake record just not seeing it!! If you do brake into that time its ashamed that all the reasearch, time, money, knowledge, and effort and lots of lots money stopped short of your goal!! since you have posted in other posts your cost For that record setting moment I vote you DS god if accomplished!!! Get ready to prototype that DS cause I will have a line of customers to copy that build, even if you double your costs!!! Semper Fi carlton
