Anyone one know the name/size of the mikuni carb that comes stock on a 2000 ds650? I tore my diaphragm and need a replacement. I tried the dealers but they told me i'll have to wait a month since it comes directly from bomb. They use this carb in other things besides quads so i'm hoping if i get the technical name i can do a search and get the replacement.

 

it is a Mikuni BSR42
its a CV type carb - meaning constant velocity, aka vacuum diaphram
it is 42mm diameter
it is the same carb that is used on the Polaris Predator
I do not know what else it may be used on

 

Yamaha Rhino now uses this carb.
Ask your local yamaha dealer if they can get a bladder quickly.
