wheres omr? i got a few questions to make sure im doin this right. when we're talkin about needle location the first grove is the top grove right? thats how my dj kit explains it. I'm around sea level and gonna be running the needle is 3rd grove down (due to big gun cdi im getting or I would go 2nd grove down), 180 main jet (thought about 185 main jet because I'm gettin hpr endcap with disks), #40 main air jet along with the other mods. This sound good to anyone else?

Ok, the float bowl screws on this thing suck!! No screwdriver I have could grip it right so I used vice grips to get 2 of them off, the other 2 are too round now and the vice grips wont grip them! I even tried cutting flat head grooves in the screw and that didn't help either! Probably gonna have to drill them sob's out! but I know I'm gettin the allen heads for it when I do get them out.

I obviously havnt got into my float bowl yet or changed the main jet. Another question..the #40 jet i need to buy is an AIR JET right? not a pilot jet? I havnt taken it out yet (lookin in thru carb intake, 3 o'clock position, same side as throttle cable). Since I'm doin this I think I read that my main jet size will react like a bigger jet so should I step it down a lil leaner? I was goin to put the 180 jet in but if its gonna run too rich due to the AIR JET being smaller and not letting as much air in to lean the mixture I should go down a couple right? I think it was 2 jet size difference with the new air jet? Thats it for now, I see not too many other people respond to this after they have done the mods. Any help is appreciated

Oh, and do I NEED a modified emulsions tube?? I just saw a little clip that shows how much better the fuel is atomized in a thicker mist rather then in bigger droplets with a different emulsions tube. heres the link to see what I'm talkin about...

go about 3/4 down this page

another one
