18" tires
#1
where can i find 18 inch tires for my ds250, i dont care about losing top speed because right now i can reach it anyway, it neutral it revs way higher than when im pinning it down a paved road, even on a slight angle. i need more torque, so i can wheelie and have better acceleration and about the same top speed cuz i cant right now with 20inch tires.
could tires off the lt-r450 fit on my ds250?

I think you would be alot better off and saving yourself alot of money by changing your gearing. What is your current gear now? Stock is 16front 40 rear. I would recommend dropping a tooth (15) on the front to start with. You will see a big difference when wheelying and you will rev out faster. If thats not enough either drop the front another tooth or go up to a 42 rear sprocket. Try the 15 front first Ron Wood has them for around 30 to 40 bucks.

Sorry man! I need my eyes checked. I didnt read the ds 250 right. In that case the gearing still applies (lower) But I have no idea about where to get sprockets for it. Sprocket Specialist maybe.

are sprockets universal? can a ds650 sprocket fit on a ds250, i would really like to know, the back sprocket on my 250 is 39 and the front is either 17 or 19 i can remember so i'll go check and then i will edit my message again.
i really want to know if a ds650 sprocket would fit on, in my shop manual, the shaft that the front sprocket sits on looks a bit like the pto shaft on a tractor (i hope there are farmers on this forum) i think the shaft the front sprocket sits on has 6 "teeth"
EDIT: Stock front sprocket has 15 teeth, i want to drop down to a 13 at least maybe even a 12.

no a sprocket from a ds650 will not fit on a ds250 as a ds 650 uses a 530 chain and the ds 250 uses a 520 chain so no it will not work...If you dropped that low you would go through your gears so fast you would not be happy with it at all and it sounded as if you wanted more power in the other thread when you asked about the carb swap...the only way 18's would fit onto the rims are if the rims are the same size you would have to check
