Sand Drags or sand parade?
I won't be hard to find we will have a big group of Bombers there with us. What kind of HP does your bike run and are you running a big shot of nos? Pulling 3rd gear hole shots is pretty impressive and it sounds like you were doing pretty good. I am curiouse I have not had my bike out yet to race the hill or the drags I missed thanksgiving becouse of work and I won't even have my paddle tires until next week so this will be my first trip to the sand I will be doing alot of testing on my bikes suspention and see how she runs. I hope I do good against the other bikes it seems whenever you pull up on a bomber people come out of the wood work to race you. Also I don't use my nos until atleast 3rd gear I have mine set up on a button not on my carb. Hope to see you out there.

I have the bomber pattern and only have a set of
20"8 paddle
22"8 paddle
25"10 paddle have not run these yet. with the 22" 8 paddle tires I was gitting killed out of the hole by the lighter bikes. I hope I can hold it down with the 25" tires and it does not hurt my performance I guess it will be trial and error but regardless it will be a good time. I guess I will have to learn more about using the nos I have never used it until 3rd gear. What do you do let off the button between shifts? I was afraid to do this becouse I did not want it to run lean or bobble between gears. I am a little scared of my nos last year I had my button stick and it wipped out my motor but I won against a 410 Banshee It sure was an expensive win though.

Sounds like you have your bike set up real well maybe I can learn a little I read your post on you running with that kid on the yfz that was pretty cool. Sounds like you are running way more HP than me especially on the Nos I will have to run you anyhow just for the fun of it But I have to warn you that if I get beat I will have to pull out a few tricks that my buddies pulled on me when we were racing and it pretty much guarantees a win every time.
1. The Bill Burkland hole shot this system was perfected by one of my best friends Bill Burkland To do it properly after you lose a race you let the other guy go down the hill in front of you and line up. Then you take a wide loop behind him and gun it and fly by the starting line in about third gear at moch 5 and see if the guy can catch you and if he can't you tell him all night how you smoked him up the hill
2. The stall and haul technique to do this properly after you lose a race you pull up to the starting line close to you apponent and distract him somehow like pointing to the other side of him or at his back tire when he is distracted you reach over smoothley and turn his key off and as he looks back up at you you smile and haul a$$ up the hill and then tell him all night how you smoked him up the hill on that race.
Hope you make it out there on new years hopefully we can mop up on a few light bike if the hill is not wooped out to bad I heard that on thanks giving it was whooped out pretty bad and very dusty with little to no breeze.

Ya I have some pretty good friends that smoke me all of the time with some pretty creative racing. They just tell me that all they know is that they were at the line the same time as me and they beat me to the top they usually do that then laugh there butts off and hand me a cold one. We don't take it seriously the only time we get seriouse at all is when we are racing and a bunch of young lite kids pull up on fast light bikes to race the fat guys on the fat bikes we don't always win but we always gain alot of respect for the bomber crowd. they are pretty amazed at what those big heavy bikes will do

Hey nut a wins a win betch And i too have a few of those friends Tpscho and there is this dude from parker that raps a rope around his bumper i have never seen the dude stop at all he is fast but its kind of a joke with our crowd. We alway's try to get the clown too stop.I have seen him for about three seasons and have yet to see him stopped at the line. He's like racing a merry go round And them street powered bikes realy suck on hills as short as freeway.I only race the far left or the far right never the middle.
