Default Alba piston kit

Has any body tried the piston kit from alba for the ds650, Comes with cams piston gaskets.

nobody has tried it?? seems like its price right, Would like to know if it is worth the money. Thanks.

I think the piston is a J&E.

I dont know of anyone ever using it. I have seen the kit. Comes with web 110's and an 11:1 j&e piston. For the price you could get a woods kit and get more compression and better selection of cams. That could be the reason why no one has used this particular kit.

I know I would rather use the woods stuff...Thats just my opinion though.

I bought a repo DS with 110s and didnt like them but it could have been other issues. I have talked to several builders and they said they are slightly better than stock but not much. Other than that I dont know. Ive had good luck with 109s and HPR3s.

Seems like HPRS the best from what I'm reading on hear. I think i will go with HPR.
