loss of power?

Default loss of power?

I have taken my 01 ds650 to the shop and they cannot figure out why my bke looses power when i go up hills. it runs ok just no power the bike is totally stock any ideas? carbs are clean thanks to the shop new packing they said maybe stock cdi box help

Is it only when you are going up hills? Just because thy say it is clean doesn't make your gas clean so dirt could be getting back into the quad even if they cleaned the jets out...I would have to say that it is your carb and make sure that your intake boot is on all the way and that your airfilter is clean. If you could give a little more info about what exactly it is doing that would be helpful.

hey thanks for responding. I know what you mean about your boot coming loose I had that happen 2 seasons ago.
yes it is when i climb hills I notice the loss of power. also when i am in 2nd gear I use to be able to pull a wheely and I can't any more. I have a k&n filter in the stock air box with outerwear. I will try to clean carb my self any sugestion on how to clean the carb
