Default Renegade 800 in the snow

I did not know there was a demo program. My dealer was allocated 3 Renegades. They were only allocated 2, but since they were a top tier dealer they were given a 3rd allocation a few weeks ago. As far as I know once the factory ship and invoices the machine, it belongs to the dealer at that point. If they want to make it a demo thats the dealers business. With most dealers only getting 1-3 Renegades allocated to them. Unless the owner wants one for himself, I can't see why they would want to devalue such a limmited item that they can get top dollar for.

CC these dont belong to the dealer....these are pre production units that each dealer will only have for a short time.
We were told the 1st production run of Renegades will be 1,000 units.

I'd love one but they just seem too big to jump. Otherwise I might trade in the DS.

LOL, I know. I saw my friend jump his Arctic Cat400 4X4 like 20ft And about 8ft up! I'm serious.

Check this out tho. It's myspace page. If you don't have an account you can only view the first page. Watch the pics & my friend jump his DS about 65ft in the vid. I bet the Renegade is just to much quad for that. Great bike but I'm afraid Id hurt myself!

Is there any way to find out how many Demo's where shipped, or where they were shipped to. If one were within driving distance I might try and make it a point to go and sheck it out.

CC I wish I had a good answer for you.
The only thing I can think of is to ask your local dealer to get on the horn to Can-AM and ask them himself.
It might be a case of the dealers who make the most noise get the oil.
The dealer I rode one from isnt a huge dealer at all and is in a small town.
Pinehurst Idaho is where the dealer is.

I bet it has the power. Just alot of moving parts to destroy on landing! Plus I'm afriad it might outweigh me enough to worry me. How is it for jumping? Or is the snow vid the only weather you've had to play in?
