Hello, I just bought the 07 DS 650 X. I didn't buy the extended warranty but was told I had until the end of the month to accept the "deal" they were offering, $450 for 4 years. First of all is an extended warranty necessary and second is that a good price? I have read this forum for a week now and it seems the consensus is the DS is pretty sound. I did a search on extended warranties on this forum but nothing of any subsance has been posted since 2002.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

 

Its been my experience that they cover next to nothing with those extended warranties... My wife bought one for my scrammy when she bought it..... they stuck it to her for $1,200. It was all I could do not to go to the dealer and kick his ***.... I'm thinking about it again.......... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

Welcome to the forum.Ive had mine for almost 4yrs and the only problem i had is wear and tear
and rider error.
