MOTOWOZ shocks
#1
For any desert racers/hardcore duners these shocks are the bomb...(pun intended)!
Just got back from the first enduro of the season and running MOTOWOZ for the first go.
First off, the DS is one heavy motherf*&#er when you have to right it back up when you flip it. The enduro was the most brutal I have done thus far! It was about 95% technical, the DS does not like technical, and never got out of third gear, excpet for the 1/4 mile front stretch. 2 things; (1) the DS is HEAVY to try and throw around in slow technical stuff, it was not a happy camper. (2) the MOTOWOZ ROCKED! The MOTOWOZ soaked every thing up hard/soft - big or small. On the smaller jumps it didnt even feel like I left the ground. When I ordered them I didnt have them set up for big jumps,as there are not many jumps in the enduros, but I supermanned off a 12 foot dune and landed flat in 3rd. I came up on it to fast, assumed the Oh S*&t position and pinned it. Landed flat and the MOTOWOZ soaked it up and didnt even try to buck me off. Only problem was I landed about 3 feet infront of a 6 foot tall desert bush and it didnt move. The DS did its best to plow through it but threw me over the bars. Took me about 10 mins to roll it back over on its feet, luckily no damage to me.
The MOTOWOZ shine everywhere. There was absolutley zero fade in performance. The only adjustment I will make is to add a little more preload to the rear, as I bottomed it out a couple of times. These where ran out of the box with no adjustments! Not once did the seat smack my ****, even in the roughest of rough. These excel in woops cornering and big hits. Without a doubt the best suspension I have ridden on. If you ride desert or dunes, hands down, IMHO, the best out there (atleast out of FOX, Elka and Ohlins that I have rode).

Ya, couple of pennys, but worth every single one of them, but comaparative to the other brands top of the line shocks. Jim @ MOTOWOZ is a class A guy, and he has an awesome shock setup. You need to see a set in person. All the tender springs are all adjustable so you can adjust the crossover, unlike all the others. Simple an amazing setup.

Those are very good shocks and it's great they got back up and running after the shop was destroyed by fire in 2003....
Keep an eye out next year too as Bilstein is in the middle of developing thier own line of ATV shocks!!!
Recently their pre-production units were run on the Renegade that took 3rd place in the baja 1000....1000+ miles of beating by a 600+ lb machine plus rider and absolutely no fade or failure!!
