Default Wiring problem need some help!!!

I got a 2004 ds baja x and i was haven problems with my charging system, so my battery kept dying. i jumped it with one of those 12 volt jumper packs and it worked a couple times then i was starting it and smoke started coming from near my tach, i was hoping that there was just a fuse under that that was blown but i cant find any. I was thinkin maybe it fried something in my tach but im not sure. It will turn over fine now i have the battery charged and everything but it just wont fire. any help would be greatly apreciated also if anyone knows of a wiring diagram online u would be my hero forever haha

thnks

I understand it may be something to do with the tach. ,but have you tried to see if you are getting any spark from the engine at all...take the plugs out and check to see if you are getting anything...also make sure that the wires that go to the clutch are connected all the way and that you battery has enough to actually crank it since it is very important to have a good battery...let me know if any of this works and if not I will help you to get it figured out...I belive you could pick a tach up at auto zone or one of the auto stores and wires it in.

check your ground wire on the frame and make sure it has a good connection...also besides the tach check the wires at the clutch like I mentioned before.
