Default Jet or not to Jet?

I plan on ordering an Mr.horsepower end cap soon.Because i want to be able to change back and forth between stock and mr.horsepower's.Ive read many pages on jetting and learning alittle bit.I live at about 994 to 1000 feet above sea level. All i have is the k&N.I was wondering if i can get away with just riding it how it is.The tip and the k&n.I really dont have the time to mess with the carb right now.Any harm in doing this?Any opinions.I didnt see any jetting stuff at that elavation anyway.

Jetting up for the end cap will not only give you maximum performance but it will also keep you from damaging your motor from too much air and too little fuel.Jetting the stock carb on a DS is very easy and once you learn how to do it you could change jets in 5 minutes. It is worth the effort.
