I have been reading the info supplied from everyone about the motorcycle conversions, I will be building one soon, however I do not need to be king of the hill so the Busa is out. Interested in 600 or 1000 Honda or Suzuki motors. I mostly dune and I do not want to extend the swing arm { at all if possible } I will be using my 2003 Bomber. Yes, I know the front end will be in the air, thats ok I can work with that. For the guys that have done the 600 cc conversions did you dune them? if so were you running the the dog s?it out of the motor?, and wishing you done a 1000 ? My thoughts are to do a 600 but I want as much input as you guys are willing to supply. Thanks

Look on the who's building what topic I posted all of the HP numbers for streetbikes. I saw a CBR 600 at the dunes on new years and it was real fast at the hill and the drags it was not as fast as alchohol banshee's but way faster than the normal bikes that were pumped up.

Yes, I looked at them impressive, over 100 hp, kinda figure for all around duning and some hill shooting may be the way to go. Just after more HP but want reliable to.

I personally wouldn't go less than 1000 cc's , cuz you can never have too much power, it's the same amount of labor to put a 1000 / 750 /or 600 in a frame, the bigger motors make better torque numbers and since more TORQUE= more FUN it's the only way to go in my book!! It's just too much work to go thru to have any regrets....GO BIG!!
