just finished my subframe
just finished my chromolly subframe, havent sanded it yet or anything. just finished welding it and ran in the house and snapped a couple pics. the flash made it look crappy but you will get the idea. you would think the stock subframe is realy heavy but its actually only 14lbs. my new one is 6lbs. alot of work for 8 lousy pounds saved but it will look really cool once its powdercouted bright red! my photo bucket page

thanks guys, took me about 8hrs so figure a pound an hour! LOL . well I have a 3/4 hand tubing bender that I used but I had to heat the tubing up a bit to get it to bend, guess because it was chromolly. either that or I' a pu$$y. that piece with the holes was just a piece of flat strap steel that drilled a pattern into with the drill press.
