jmann thanks, i believe it is luminar window tint it is a name brand. very good tint. not sure on how dark for the darkness.

Think of your truck as an employee.....

Take the Chevy for instance. The Chevy is the new guy who is always sitting in the plush, comfy lounge talking about all of his great ideas on how to improve the place......and is always asking for a raise!

The Ford is the big buff looking jock who brags about how much weight he can carry, but on the big day he calls in sick.

The Dodge is the quiet guy who never misses a day of work, he always gets it done without much fanfare. He comes in early and leaves late and never causes any trouble.


If that doesn't resonate with some of you, try this.....

The Chevy is most likely to have the radio set to Air America, Barbara Streisand or Donny Osmund.

The Ford will without a doubt have Shania Twain, Vince Gill or (whatever the mechanic likes to listen to in all reality), lol

The Dodge will have all the radio preset stations to Conservative talk radio!

The new breed of diesel's are light-years ahead of the old ones (except I still like the old 7.3L). But, the engine tranny combos on all of them are great.

For me, it was all about the price. GMC came out with the Employee discount and Ford didn't get on-board for about a month. Too late by then.

Most of the guys in my group drive Chevy's or GMC's and there haven't been times that I know of where anyone has been stuck on the side of the road. Same can be said for the Ford in the group. Unfortunately, the Ford is the second Ford as the first was "Lemon'd" due to continued oil-leaks on the 6.0 PowerStroke. I hope he doesn't see any more issues.

Dang AZ. . . was the thing wrecked? The engine alone is worth at least $5k!

 

I had a very hard time deciding Dodge, GM, or Ford. I was leaning towards the Dodge about 99% until I drove the Chevy...the ford was out due to the 6.0 problems I read about.

I would still like to have a Cummins w/ a 6 speed manual, lift it up on 37's with a honkin dual stacks coming out the bed. This is my idea of what a dodge should be with straight axles and cloth bench seat in a quad cab long bed config.

BUT, then me and my girlfriend took the LT3 Chevy for a ride and it felt like a Luxury Muscle Truck! Had to get the buckets and leather along with all the bells and whistles and the mods for this will eventually be performance and just a leveling kit with 325/60/18's....LOVE the look of this truck:

If I already had a sports car or something would have went Dodge, but with a do everything truck had to give the nod to GM!!!

 

Ford dodge or chevy the only differance is the owner and his knowledge of his truck.the dodge is the weakest but the cheapest of the bunch to own and maintain.The ford is the most powerrfull and the fastestup until 70.the chevy is the prettyist and the fastest in top end. And no the truck was not wrecked it was a stolen recovery that was taken off the dealer lot.they caught the thiefs try to disasemble the truck.Im having my people put it back together right now it will probably cost me another 1500 to complete it back to showroom shaqpe but it has aq good title and a full waranty.Im going to make a tow truck out of it once i put the bed on it it will sell for 40-50K [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
