Just off the phone with Danita.

Jeff and Randall ran against each other because they had not had a good run all day. Danita said that at half track, Jeff was ahead, but then his motor shut down. He burnt two more plugs off.

Drakesters bike and Jeffs bike have run the fastest times of the day. It was 4.15

I hate to hear any bad info, but it sounds like the bikes are plagued with grimmlins (sp) this weekend.

Congratulations to everyone that is down there!

Well, Ive talked to several people who were there and win lose or draw it sounds like all the bikes mentioned were all very impressive at certain times. It really is too bad that bad things (break downs and malfunctions) happen to people at these big races. I heard that the HPR bikes were all very impressive before bad things happened. I heard all of THEBOM's bikes were very impressive before bad things happened. And I heard that Drakesters bike was very impressive and luckily nothing bad happened. It sounds to me like everyone can be proud and hold there head high. Good job to everyone.

The Spiderbike will stay on the trailer tomorrow...

We annihilated a 1000cc streetbike conversion on a drag chassis this evening with Drakesters bike. We are thoroughly impressed by the performance of this bike.

More tomorrow.
Streetbike conversion or a streetbike motor in a drag chassis?
Which is it?
A Conversion would be a streetbike motor stuffed into a modified stock frame with decent suspension.
A Drag chassis indicates a custom made drag frame with no or limited suspension.
Just curious.
It was a custom built drag chassis with a Suzuki 1000 V-Twin street bike engine that actually won the Unlimited Class this evening with a 4.4 E.T.

I want to start this post off with on a very positive note and I also want to conclude this post on a very positive note.

First and formost I want to thank Sean Drake for allowing me the priviledge of piloting such a beast of a bike. THANK YOU FRIEND/TEAMMATE, you deserved these wins today and they certainly didnt come very easy, by a long shot.

Second, I want to say that I really appreciate THEBOM for stepping up and assisting Drakester and I during the OEM Chassis class after his bike popped out of gear during his race. Jeff's bikes are certainly something to take note of at any race.

Third, I want to say that we all knew what we were looking at whenever we were faced with opposition such as FAST69'S rigid....OH MY, can I tell you how much of a monster this bike is......nothing less than an eye opener. I just hate it that Fast69 has all the bad luck, POOR GUY. HPR had a very good chance to represent us all quite well, no doubt about that. Better luck next time.

Fourth, I dont want to take anything away from the actual competition that entered these races today. TSS Racing's CRF on a drag chassis, Finishline Racing's OEM chassis YFZ, Scott's ATV Drag Chassis YFZ and of course Scott's ATV Drag Chassis Raptor are just a few bikes that come to mind who were very tough competition today.

PS: Dunedevil & Goodsound, I really appreciate you both for keeping everyone abreast of what was happening trackside.

I will try to get some vids up very soon.

Thank all of you who consider me a friend, if there was anything that I can do in the future, just say the word.

Scott Bennett

Had a good time and wanted to say the 2 stroke unlimited class was ast as well, A litle 12 yr old girl took the honors on a 4 mil that was hot pink. Marlin gave her a good run but was giving up about 200 pds just in rider alone. She was very impressive. Good to see the gang again and hang out. Scott and Drakster you make a good team. The Bomb class act as always. 1Big no more bananas and HPR and Fast69 hated to see the gremlins get you. Next I hope to be in the mix. Thanks ubtil next time

Just walked in the door.

Drakesters bike is evil. That bike carried the front end to atleast 250ft. on every pass. Sean Drakester deserves every praise he gets for his bike. Very impressive.

Scott, next time dont take it easy in the finals, That was too close. Remember NOS switches work better in the on position.

There were no shortages of hard running bikes. Seems that everyone is stepping it up once again.

I'd like to thank Fast69 and his crew for allowing me to hang around. They're class acts each one of them. Ced maybe next time we can get you to make afew passes on my bike.

Fast69 had a good run of bad luck this weekend. First Mr.Hp tries to ramp the center line of the track and breaks the steering stem on Fast's oem frame bike. But before he did, on one of his previous passes, he lays down the fastest pass for Fast's oem Ds. Right before the races start was when all the gremlins struck. His oem has motor problems shuts him down in the oem class. The drag frame starts with a burnt cdi box, then a toggle switch, then a nos bottle that doesn't want to stay on the bike, and last but not least, the carbs decide they dont like staying in the carb boots (everytime 222 tries to launch the bike it blows the carbs off). Simple fixes but they kept frustrating the cause. But the drag frame bike laid down an impressive time on Friday with the bike tracking all over the track and it having to be shifted without the aid of a overide. Cant wait to see what this bike will do when it makes a straight pass with the overide (lookout 3 sec club).

Congrads to Donita for taking the Ute Class. That Outty was fun to watch carry the wheelies out to half track.

Marlon what can I say, that shee was laying it down. He made it 3 rounds until he ran up against the 12 year old on a fast shee. He gave her the best run she had during eliminations, but she edged him out for the win. Note to self 250+lbs rider vs. 85lbs rider smaller rider has a huge advantage.

Great to see everyone again. Mr. Meaner and crew, 222, Bo, Ced, The Bom, Donita, Fast 69 and crew, Scholle, Choose, Marlon, Drakester, Yzf, Silverbullet, Mr. Hp(for the 5 minutes he was there) and many others.

Mr. Meaner, dont worry I wont try to make a banana out of my next wheelie bar. I think the higher angle and an extra bar will solve that.
