Haha it is alright I was like I have heard of alot of companies, but never that one...lol thanks...There is too much I want to do and not enough money to start it so I will have to wait a little while, but when the time comes the disease of spending and buying parts will be back.

It's all good.

I got to tell ya I added up all that we did to Seth's motor and other upgrades like a swinger and 520 chain conversion and we could have easily bought a new DS but then we would be in the same boat and want to upgrade it. So that is why we just updated his 2000. It would have been cheaper if we didn't get the new engine but then again we got to sell alot of items that were still good on the old engine.

You get into it you will have trouble stopping.

My Preddy is next but we are gonna have to recover from the DS first. At least it is all paid for. Pricey but if you ask it was all well worth it. And being able to have this great community we have here did save him quite a bit of money. Work done for good prices and parts that he could get second hand was great.

These guys are all great, look past the crap and listen to all the truth. There is alot of truth in this forum.

Thanks again to all that helped us with Seth's build.

Seth is doing good. Just got the cast off yesterday just has a brace now. Got the stiches out and gets to start riding again in 3 weeks he can't wait.

As for mods I would have to say for the most noticable difference quick mod would be the carb. He already had a pipe at that time. It was quick and easy and made a huge performance difference.

As for all the new stuff it made a big difference as a whole but never did just one thing seperately to be able to tell you for sure what else would make a difference on its own.

Trust me if I would have known it was gonna end up costing this much I would have saved up a little longer. Needless to say it took alot of our savings away and made for a lot less dune trips this year. Hense the reason my Preddy is gonna take awhile to get it's upgrades. Seth makes good enough money that I am able to stay at home with the boys and I appreciate that alot but it gets harder and harder all the time to be able to be just a one income family. It will be alot better when both of our kids are in school and I can bring in a little extra cash too.

Alright thanks, well good to hear that Seth is doing better and I am sure he will be glad to get back to riding his new and improved ds...I have some ideas in my head on what I am going to do, but the engine being stock def has too go even though it does put out good power for trail riding and occasionally I get to open her up to 4th gear. I appreciate everyones input from this thread, thanks again.
