Default Clairification on weight loss for '00 DS

I'm "trying" to make it. Nothing is for sure until the Friday before the event. The DS is apart right now. Installing valve springs in new large valve head, etc. DS has been stored since 8/1/2006.

I installed a 2005 swing arm on my 00 no problem.
You will also need these items:
-05 brake caliper bracket
-530 master link for your chain.
-05 lower shock bushings
-new set of 00 swing arm bushings because the ones in your old swing arm are very difficult to get out.
The bushings in the 05 swing arm have a smaller inside diameter thus your 00 bolt won't slide through.

Everything else fits perfect, Axle and carrier etc...
You will also have to cut a few links out of your chain to accommodate the shorter swingarm. ( I think three)
When you pick up the new swing arm and compare to the old steel one you won't believe the difference.

Oh, one more thing you will need is a longer lower shock bolt.
Good luck!
