Default locking front end

Anyone tried to make the front end lock in immediately. By the time all four wheels turn, I'm stuck compared to others. I wonder if anyone has a update to make all four engage quicker.

The 2008 will have a faster locking front differential.

A guy told me he was at the dealer the other day and he said the dealer told him that wasn't going to be a problem anymore because of some sort of a switch.

The guy took it to mean a switch installed at the factory that locked the front differential or an aftermarket item that could be installed.

I was a bit dubious because I though he was just trying to sell the guy a new 800 and he's lost a few sales because of a few of the local boys around here getting a good look at the visco-lok in actual trail use and were less that impressed.

That being said, I would be ecstatic if there was such a device being offered and I know of two outty owner personally who would buy them in a heartbeat. I know it would make me consider buying one again.

It's supposed to work six turns quicker. That sounds like a huge improvement. But I wonder how many turns it takes currently?
