A while back I posted that my ds650 would start to cut out once I got going. I did the light trick and it worked fine. So, I figured I would get a different regulator and it would work. Well I just put it on today and just went out and same results except now it doesn't even work with the headlights on. Hope ya can help... Thanks...

 

Well first I want to know what type of mods you currently have like exhaust etc because if you do I would say either your jetting is off or maybe the jets are clogged and it is causing you to start stalling out while going or you might need to tweak the carb a little using the adjuster screw...Check the color of your plugs and let me know and I would also tell you to look under the seat and make sure the ventline coming from the gas tank ins't getting crimped becuase it will cause it to conk out and run horribly because there will be no ventilation for tank and pressure will build...Hope this helps.

 

Is the gas good? I have had that problem and it turned out to be bad gas. I had to drain the whole system before it finally worked.

 

I think I had some dirt in the carb. I didnt mess with anything. I just went out and drove it and it ran great. crazy thing, I think Im going to go drain the gass and put some new stuff in.
