Default Paddle Tires

Hi Everybody, I have a quick question. I have an 02 ds with a 720 kit on it. I am currently using 20x10x10 Skat Trak Ripper Paddles. I am wondering if these are costing me a lot of horsepower to turn. I notice a lot of you guys are running 8 paddle haulers or extremes. I can climb any hill I want to, but if I try the long runs in third gear I lose power pretty fast. I was just wondering if anybody else has run into this problem before. I am also running 15-40 gearing with a 520 conversion. Would it be worth it to go to a smaller paddle, less up? Any info is great. Thanks

Why go taller? How tall would I need to go? 22's or bigger? Do you reccomend the extremes or the rippers. I had haulers on it when it was new, and it destoryed them in a one season. Thanks a lot for the help.

I am running 22's right now and I can climb any hill in 3rd easily, so i would say stay with 21's or 22's and you should be fine.
