Default LTE's and Lectrons

Im trying to figure out a way to make this work. Im considering using a peice of silicone rubber hose like they use on turbo systems for a snorkle and a direct mount filter because its flatter and has a built in angle. I can turn the filter upside down to get a little more clearance from the pipes. Anyone else make this combo work?

Are you using the lectron or the TM carb. Direct mount? or did you figure something out.

I found this thread that was interesting

Power loss in the bottom end. Everyone Ive talked to so far and what Ive read all says that you have to have a snorkle to straighten out the flow. Is there a difference other than size from a 40 lectron to a 48. Or are you running duals? If Im going to drop $700 in an exhaust Im going to expect gains across the board. Currently running a Ct pipe. What would the loss be in the bottom end? Im also wondering how well my boondocker setup is going to work on a direct mount and LTE's. Chuck at CG is convinced that we would see a 2 to 3 hp gain with the LTE setup but where?

Well i shy away from the homos but i can tell you with pami stage threes and no nos im putting out 59 hp with 40mm's some one may claim higher #s in alaska during elk season but these are 5.0's bikes STOCK BORE FULL WEIGHT.And no if you have a good tuner you will maintain your lower end and gain mid where you need the rush. And ive heard nothing but good about this chuck so id try it.And my 40mm were recomended by KEVIN from fast by gast and i belive he was right they had improved velocity over my 48's and no i ran one single.Recomended by one of the fastest guys in the country.so i listened.JUST CALL ME A FOLLOWER.
