Default ds650 headlight

On the wiring thing... I've felt a lot more comfortable since I went direct hook-up.... meaning that I cut the original H4 conector off the harness, and off the new headlamp. I use Twist Loc connectors so even if those fail (witch is nearly impossible) they could be repaired on the trail. I did the conversion as described in Ace's article and never had any issues with the jumpers but, I was always in the back of my mind. My original headlight setup died on a night ride in the middle of the dunes with no moon, and to say that the ride home was terrifying is an understatement. No lights through 3 sets of dunes will make you re-evaluate your lighing situation.LOL Anyway, the Twist Loc's with the weather tight boots are rock solid.... I don't worry about it at all any more.

Is there a new link to the headlight modification? I got the parts for a 2007 Can-Am DS 650 to fit on my 2000 DS 650. Just not sure where to cut the wires yet.

Thanks
