ds650 headlight

Default ds650 headlight

does anyone know where i can find a headlamp assembly for an 01 ds650?

Ever think about swaping it for a 04 headlight? it puts out better light, its lighter, and doesnt break.....Just a thought....

i think there might be some wiring needed? and you need a plastic piece that goes around the light...oh yea and some small trimming of the stock plastic.

Default ds650 headlight

The stock replacement from the two cheapest dealers is $109 plus s&h. From those same two places all of the parts in the link below will set you back around $76. Like was stated earlier the conversion is brighter, lighter, and CHEAPER.

he turned me on to the headlight mod, and what an improvement. pretty easy to install too, as i am not that mechanically inclined...

I've got your clown right here buddy...

Looks like the trip to Alaska got the after school blues wiped away! Glad you had a good time Jason. The new job has my spirits a little higher as you might imagine.

Hopefully truckdriva post with an update. Especially if the parts have gone up in price considerably.

Default ds650 headlight

Been there. . . done that.

I got my kit from TVI. Gary's put the whole kit together nicely.

You need three short wires with push connectors on there to adapt from one pin connector style to the other. Easy.
