Big Gun has re-designed their DS650 pipe!!! I will be getting a new pipe free of charge. The tailpipe and midpipe are one unit now. The header pipes seal to the tailpipe w/o leaks. The quiet core insert can now be quickly swapped in/out with the race core. I noticed that the description for the 2000 pipe claims a 6HP peak gain on topend as well as a 14lb weight savings over stock!

See www.biggunexhaust.com, click on news.

New for 2001

Big Gun Race Series™ and Quiet Series™ (94db) Exhaust Systems Feature:
• Aerospace Ceramic Coated Headpipe and Tailpipe for more power.
• CNC Billet Aluminum End Cap
• USFS Approved Screen Type Spark Arrestor
• Quiet Series features our patented mechanical core and Big Gun Repack Kit by Silent Sport™ to keep noise levels at or below 94 db!

ScoobyDFW you have had both the Ron Woods and the Big Gun pipes. What is the difference between the Big Gun and the Ron Woods pipes?

Scooby,

If you would'nt mind I would love to have the jetting specs and parts used to enable your accelerator pump. I'm sure you have answered this question before but it would help me very much. I can be e-mailed @ sgoochds650@home.com

Thanks
Shawn

I don't have the final settings yet. There have been so many things that have gotten in the way of finishing the tuning. Graydon Proline has been working on the HSR42 carb, so that might be another source to try. Maybe in a few more weeks I'll have an answer, but it may not be exactly what is needed for thr HSR45.

Just got the 2001 Big Gun very easy to put on and very tight fit.
