PROTEST: Protests can only be done by the drivers of the 1st & 2nd place vehicles of each class and must be done within 15 mins of the conclusion of the class to be protested. A $200 fee must be paid to the track official before an official protest will begin. If the vehicle is found to be illegal, the fee will be given back to the protesting driver & the racer/vehicle will be barred from racing during the rest of the this event. If the vehicle is found legal, the $200 will go to the racer/vehicle being protested against. If racer refuses to have vehicle checked, he/she will forfeit the reward/award and any entry fee's, therefore, will not be allowed to compete in this entire event.

Are expected to ship back to me by the end of next week. The system will be upgraded with newer software to make the lights drop on demand. I think this will be a huge plus for all of us. We will be installing the system at Sicily Island during the next couple of weeks to make sure all bugs are worked out of this system before race day.

We might even designate a weekend to just test n tune for one fee so that everyone will have a fair share to level the playing field before race day.

I will be meeting with the dozer operator over the next couple weeks as well. The plan is to widen the lanes and provide a buffer zone between the lanes/spectators & racers.

I hope you all have made your plans to attend this event as it has proven to be one of the most premier atv sand drag events in the South.

There has been some questions arising concerning the use of an 06-07 crank being run in the 04-05 models of the yfz 450 in the stock bore stock stroke class.

Just to clarify this for everyone, the 06-07 model & the WR cranks will be allowed to run in the 04-05 model yfz's with a maximum stroke of 63.4 mm.

In essense, as long as a yfz 450 does not exceed a 95mm bore x 63.4mm stroke=449.1cc's.

 

CC1999, I guess you noticed I listened to you and the others.....there is now a 4x4 class that you do not have to run nitrous in to compete.

I hope your still planning to attend.

 

With a limited 4x4 class I'll try to come down and see how my lil 730 does.

 

By the looks of things, the Limited Classes on Friday are really heating up.

I hope all you folks have already made plans to attend.

It will be another blow-out, Im quite sure!
