So heres the question!

Thanks choose... I agree BUT.... You will see a OEM chassis run in LOW LOW 4's or HIGH HIGH 3s and would be competitive at any local strip like the one in rexingburg. Glenn is gonna do it...
It IS cheaper to build a rigid. Ive been pondering it. BUt when it all boils down to it I will also support both 300ft and hillshooting. Until I personally lose an interest in it, ill still be handing out moppins.
I have a proposal for you JED! You build a chassis bike that can beat my OEM in 300ft ill give you $500 just a little motivater
IMy DS will be strutted, light OEM, its already stretched a tad +2 forward w/a-arms, wheely bar etc. I can be competitive but not the fastest. Id need a proven chassis, BIG motor, NOS, pro pilot, AND A WHOLE LOTTA luck to put a few good passes together. Its the same chit different track. Only thing is with a rigid you cant run race the hill, and its a little cheaper as mentioned due to less shocks etc.

OH MAN!! I forgot whats interesting... Do you guys know how many banshee we blow up on the hill per season. LT500s etc. We can run them motors INTO the ground. they are dumb enough to keep lining up! We sand bag them so they will. Thier motors seize. That chit gets fun I dont know about you but when someones maddoggin you on the hill and you put the clown show on its sometimes WAY better than a trophy. ANY trophy.
Heck my own BUG GUY blew 2 of his bikes up running us last season. So whos really costin who $$?

That would be funny, forsho!
Mario, didnt you hear, my OEM would have waxed yours. Let alone if I make a chassis. And I could still do it with less cc's......
I think shooting the hill is alot funner. Heck I still like to do it on my dirt bike (which would still beat your bike). But what your not getting is this. You just mentioned when you get this, add that, bigger here, lighter there. It never ends with the way its done. If you have a class size, you get to choose the cc size, and run what you brung. That pits us 650 cc guys against all 600 class cc bikes. And so on and so forth. It starts to level the playing field a little. I want a chassis to run a mod type of class. I feel its the easiest and best way to really be competitive.
But really this is all just wishful thinking anyhow.

Mario, I have no doubt that Glenn's bike has the potential to run very low 4's or even break into the 3's. No doubt in my mind.
But we are talking about the industry as a whole. I would like to see a proven set of ground rules/classes established with an organization that can provide world class races with an official starting / stopping system in place with benefits that would attract not only attract the attention of the manufacturers, but would make them feel more inclinded to present us with some sort of contingency programs. I know you and many many others out there would support such an organization.

Lets compare apples to apples Jedster. Your 650 on motor alone got waxed by my 650. Then you added a 60 shot of nos and common sense will tell ya the rest.
And ol boooy you dont want no part of this new machine youll have sand pooring off your mustach for days on end. LMAO. Seriously Youd love to ride this. The stockbore at pismo was a joke till I finallychanged some stuff and saw what the dualls did on the dyno without sacraficing ANY bottom end and dynoed some more stuff. Your gonna need a rigid with 110 HP to run wit dis.
