The way I justify the 50.00 on a K&N is 15.00 a filter for stock and I will probably install one every year or two and I have bought the only new quad I have had since 89(so 16 years =atleast 8 filters x 15.00 each =120.00)

 

Correct me if im wrong, none of the aftermarket filters show any gain on the dyno?

Also the ecm is holding back the potenial of this beast. Hard to mod and show gains on the dyno?

 

If its not showing on the dyno its not there. The dyno does not lie. On a lot of quads over the years I have genneraly seen about a 1-2 hp gain form a K&N, just not so on the Outy's.
