did many people besides sand bomber fully reduce the weight on there ds? I was in the process before I went to work for our uncle. I have my frame down to 26 pounds, no bolt on parts, subframe is still a question mark, any good ideas in this area. the steering column is of question also.

wow i thought this area would have been really worked over by now, how much are the chromolly parts coming in at the rear sub frame was a tank seems i recall it to be 15-16 pounds, seems like a lot to hold up the seat and the battery, oh and the tail light.

Also get your hubs turned down, that will save a lot of rotating mass

Don't Forget, go on diet lose 30 pounds, get a carbon fibre helmit, leave the wad of 100's in the trailer, get a hair cut, how bout a lighter pair of boots. just talking here, why spend the 100's to lose 50 pounds on the bike and then eat 5 burgers and a couple of beers before you run the hill??????

Because it is easier to spend 100s on trimming the bike then to skip out on the burgers and beer
