They were ran prior to Mister X getting them....

From reading erbe's post it reads like the exhaust cam lobe is hitting the bridge?????????

If so you need to releave the bridge in that area.........

Post up some pictures of the area in question

No it is not the lobes that are hitting. It is the round piece that the gear sprokets hook on to. They are rubbing. And the intake is worse then the exhaust.

Default DS650 Cams & Cam Bridge Clearence Fit??

So the thrust clearance? Do you have another bridge to see if yours is just a little fat? Maybe the cams are on the narrow side of clearance and the bridge is on the fat side.

So the machined jounals (cam gear end) are not fitting into the bridge properly?????????

Default DS650 Cams & Cam Bridge Clearence Fit??

My DS manual doesn't give end play clearances on the cam shaft fit to bridge.
It does say .004 is the Maximum clearance for O.D. (cam journal) I.D. (cam bridge). That fit is obtained with plastic gauge.
