AWESOME INFO !! Im over here in South Carolina and have always had Banshee built to the Gills , but now that Ive gotten a little older (and all my friends have 4x4's ) I want some meat with my potatoes .(speed with 4x4) Is the renegade 800 faster than ALL THE REST of the 4x4's ? and what about this new Artic Cat 1000 !!! Is it all show and no go ?

1000 is prolly faster, but that would be the only advantage vs. the renegade or outty. I would not buy the first year of the new motor until they get bugs worked out. Just my $.02

The thunderkitty might be faster if and whenever they actually start rolling into production, but I'm skeptical at best on it's trail performance. The renegade will certainly upset a lot of sport quad riders and definately all other 800's (it's only about 1 bike length faster than an outy 800 though).

This is some of the quads I have raced and beat,I will call them stock, just because I beat them and that would make sense. Last weekend 2 banshees,I have raced 3 kawi450r beat each one,I can run with the raptor and 450yfz,and there is some others that I dont know what they was but I also beat those. All races was hill shooting. Please note, not bragging or trying to start anything, just a fact. My motor is completely stock, except for what I have listed in my sig.

I ve had my renegade for a few months now and yesterday it flipped but that not to worry it was in horrid conditions

I bought it because it was my first ATV and i thought the 800 would have killed me but you get used to its power so fast and you cant do wheelies anything near how the 800 does them i cant even do them but min goes about 65mph havnt gone anyfaster i was reallly all that informed on breaking it in the rear storage is a bit small the throttel numbs your thumb to but its still awsome

A bigger quad than the renegade is not even an option for me!

They won't stop at 1000cc. Remember when a 500 was the baddest jet ski in the water?

I meant in physical size, more engine is always a good thing.

Im wanting a Rene 500, but how will it fair in tight trail conditions? Also its the exact same size as the 800 maybe just 30 or so pounds lighter...??...is that a big deal?
