How does the renegade 500 compare performance wise and to a scrambler?

I was at a dealer getting parts for my Honda monday. Checked out both. If the suspensions are the same. I like the price tag on the 500 a little better!

It outperforms the scrambler in every way!! The only place I would rather have a scrambler would be a flatrack race because of the straight axle. If you are buying for trail riding, then the renegade is the better choice. The scrambler has a chain drive that is fairly low to the ground in the back - not much ground clearance.
