CAN AM Issues
I Have a 07 Outlander 650. I Have owed it for the 3 months. It's been in the Shop for a total of 5 weeks. SAD SAD SAD Several issues, First the Winch not reeling back in just out and the exhaust rattling. Winch they did nothing and they used gasket sealer in the pipe joints and replaced the spring with POLARIS SPRING for the exhaust (15 Days), then the axle shaft inner spider gear just shattered turning in 4wheel drive. They replaced the whole axle (4 Days), then the oil started leaking in the back of motor, They replaced the outer trans seal and O-rings and replaced oils (8 Days) Then while pulling logs from the wood the check engine light came on. I looked at the 4wheel and found the oil 3/4qt low they had just replaced the trans and engine oil replacing the seals. I took it in,They called and said the engine light was from low voltage output. They said it only happens using the winch at idle (9 Days) They called Oct 18 Now it's still at the shop. Remiy at Quebec BRP says it's acceptable for the 650's engine light to come if the winch is being use at idle. The machine has to be at 3000 rpms for it not to come on. So there not going to do anything about it. OK So how do you idle up the motor when you are using the remote winch controls. (I guess you use an 8 foot arm I got 1 anyone else).
Is there a LEMON law on ATV's
Does anyone else have these problems specially the winch idle problem. don't think any other ATV does this.
Does this all sound like a Sound ATV.
8500.00$ for a piece of junk.
Am i just stuck with a CAN AM that was built on a Thursday before and 3 day weekend.
Sorry for venting Seydel2001
