i have a 2000 DS. i would like to put more lighting on it.

i have been eyeing the baja lights for some time, BUT my bike has carbon fiber air scoops on it

are the lights compatible with the scoops?

are any of you running alternative lighting souces, other than stock, like a ;handlebar type clamp, or the lazerstar steering stem mount?

any information would be appreciated

 

I don't have the carbon fiber shrouds, But I am running the baja lights with my shrouds look at my pic's. Hope this helps.

 

cool, they fit!! did you have to do anything different than you would have to have done without the shrouds?

 

It is a very tight fit but it works just fine, I only have a little bit of rubbing with the facia on the shrouds. I just had trouble with the bolts right above the baja lights on the shrouds. Just make sure to eye those up, and tighen them first, because you can't get to them, after the lights are in. It will drive you nuts..LOL

 

I have carbon fiber shrouds and run an aftermarket light set. I think I paid about 60 bucks for the lights and installed a set of piaa bulbs in them. I mounted them right to the shrouds. I will try to take a few pics and post them.
