Don't need paddles all around. i had dunestars on the front but took them off. i have itp rims with the dunestars for clearance. you have to be carefull as the dunestars will hit the steering knuckle. with paddles you can go anywhere in the sand in 2x4. again i say dont need 4x4.

I didnt think 4x4 was needed and only planned on getting rear ones. I like the idea of 12 inch wide versus 10 just dont know how tall to get....

After looking at skat traks site the ripper has taller and thicker paddles than the hauler.sound slike a ripper is the way im going to go or the extreme which has same height paddle as the hauler just thicker. What do you think?

Well top speed is a varible and will change with conditions. you get alot of wind drag from paddles at speed.wont be the same as say a mudlite but you will be faster because mudlites are one heavy sucker of a tire and will hold you back even more so.i have hit 70 before but seldom do top speed in sand its more about how fast you are say to about 50 or so in the sand.

Well as i said before my friend knows someone thats running rippers and he swears by them. i wished i could have got together with him to check them out. with the heavy quad i dont like to spin like on a lighter machine, i dont have any problem breaking loose the 14's in the sand on launch.when i had the dunestars on the front i could get a faster launch in 4x4 for sure i would just jump out of the hole, but i dont like running them. i use the stock tire for the front. if you want to save on weight them go to the after market itp rims and diff tires. if you want to race in 4x4 mode with the setup i have no problems.

They don't rub with the itp rims i have, but will with the stockers.i use to run them, its just not neccessary for where i ride or how i ride no matter where i go,also the offset of the itp's make the front a little wider than i like for trail riding. if you get to wide your quad won't track with the ruts.
