Default Rolled the dice and WON!

I had come close to bidding a couple time on the old ProPrgs, but never did it after reading the problems several DS brothers had. Then AC came out with the Blackline model and I really liked the looks and the SS pegs.

When they started showing up as blems on E-Bay I picked a a price I was will to pay, and after three auctions I won a set.

I got the Blackline ProPegs in black with silver nets. So after all my weight loss program I have added 9Lbs back to my DS.

The fit was ok, everything bolted up and fit but the very front of the left side is 3/8 higher that the front of the right side over the frame where the nerfs meet.

I lost the Flinstone reverse, but I really like riding with them, and the SS pegs have a crazy grip that I'm still getting used to.

I know there are a lot of people that have had trouble with the AC ProPegs, and just wanted to lot everyone know how mine turned out.

You can see them in my pics,

Scott

Congrats Scott. Are you sure it wasn't the IMS heel guards for the Roll Design pegs that every one was complaining about? I know the fit on them really sucked. I've not heard of any issues with the AC Pro Peg nerfs. Other than that God awful vibrating noise that they make up front. I can't believe that with your quiet exhaust that you haven't noticed it! I took mine off because of it.

Flintstone reverse... now that's funny.

Vic,
There were some guys that had to do some bending and re-welding to get their ProPegs to fit. Some just ended up sending them back.

No strange noise yet, got one trip to the dunes on them and about 20 hours here at home.

Nice thing was since I had already build fender braces I was able to sell the ones that came with these to help with the cost, made the deal even better.

Mine fit horrible and the powdercoat (the blackline ones) came chippin in the box from AC and is just poor quality all around, i was so disapointed, but they are nice looking, there arent a lot of choices for pro pegs or heel guards for that matter for the DS, slim pickins lol

I was "one of those guys" with the issues back in the day on my old DS. They were the best option for me because at the time you were lucky to find the IMS pegs for anything south of 200. They truly are a great design, and when you can get them to fit are pretty good pegs (although they eventually get loose/rattle and the teeth wear on the pegs) but overall I liked them (AFTER getting them on lol).

If I were shopping for new pegs/nerfs I would personally scoop up the pair of IMS pegs with kickups on ebay for like 75/80 buy it now NIB, throw on some standard nerfs of choice and call it a day. I powdercoated some baja pegs in flat black so that is my cheap/color matching alternative to the IMS setup.

Glad you like the blackline though, they do look crazy amazing (im addicted to all black)

You need to go buy some lotto tickets..LOL!!! Figures, you buy blems that fit without much hassle, I bought new from AC and didn't have SS pegs in the box and had to completely reconstruct the foot pegs to get mine to fit properly.

I know I got lucky. I really like them, but from your guys issues I'm not recommending them to anyone.
