performance parts for 800
#1
I'm looking for performance parts for my Can Am 800. So far I have the HMF pipe, Dobeck TFI, and UNI filter. I am looking for a significant increase in power, like engine mods, or turbo, last resort nitrous. I called Hotcams and was told nothing is available. Webcams doesn't list anything either.
I'm thinking the Dalton clutch kit will be the next mod, anyone done that?

You can use the dalton or something else that really works well, the Renegade clutch fingers. Makes the belt ride a bit higher in the clutch.
There's not much else out there right now. After you do the clutches, whatever else you do follows the law of diminishing returns.

[At one time i was going to do the R.W. full hop up kit on the rene, then i found out the cams don't work properly with the ECU, that means the larger valves won't be that much of a benefit so i got disgusted and gave up on it. If i was going to do anything now i would check into noss and see if that would work, fastest and cheapest way to get there.]

I use the dalton clutch setup, and for the type of riding I do cant seem to noticed any difference than engageingat 2,100 rpm.I believe these type of kits are better suited for rock crawling or such.
