Default Renegade vs Cat 1k

Well after all the hype the tcat 1k only comes in with 66hp and at 715lbs, renegade is 62hp at less than 600lbs. Some can-am riders have sold their can-ams and put orders on the new Tcat 1k, now their sweating bullets hoping it will be faster than can-am. it might turn out that they d/graded in speed. Even if can-am has to do some catchup its not going to be very much of a deal to tweak the 800 to get more hps. I'm thinking some could have saved lots of money and stayed with the can-am product. Just my 02.

Right, the tq is suppose to be 188 something, its not ft lbs.I think they use a tq multiplier and it might be 3-1, if so it could be around 60ft lbs, thats just my guessing.

Even if the thundercat was faster in a line.....its gonna be seeing the rear of the renegade the first corner.

I wouldnt tweak the 800... then your messin with a reliability issue. Hopefully bomb will just drop a true 1000 in it.

From early indications is that the cat will beat the gade in a drag.

If you sold you ride for the big kitty kat sry to hear... cause sounds like you will be rideless for a while.......lol

Thats the rumor of course that can-am will come out with a 1k machine. I think it will be close 715 vs 589 lbs, as far as tq i rather have a bunch of tq over hp for my type of riding. hp is fast if you keep it in the sweet spot. tq is more forgiving. it sounds like ac toned the motor down abit cording to the posts i read.trying not to break to many things on the first time out.

Its very hard to beat the handling of the renegade... you gotta love it.

Cant wait for Nov13 to see what is gonna be released. I keep hearin about a 400EFI outtie. I dont really care too much about that. But the way BRP works they like to release a couple of things at a time. 400EFI and ******** ????
