Default DS650 ??
What is the top speed a DS 650, stock motor stock gearing? A friend said his would go close to a 100 mphs. I said I doubt it.

definatly not 100. my Quadzilla running on 22" rear tires clocked 92mph

It will do about 73-78 mph. I hope this helps to clear this up with your friend.

Have your friend visit here and input his tire size for a rough estimate. All depends on his weight, air temp, air density, and an assload of other variables. But it is close. Should clear up an confusion.

Yeah but ...from what I understand it can do 100 for a lot less money than to hop up the motor. Tires and gearing, no?

We can do 72 in 3rd gear on the 730 at LEAST. But thats with stock gearing and a hopped up motor.

no stock internal ds650 will pull 100mph with a gearing change....i had 22 inch rear tires with a 16 tooth front sprocket and it was a hard pull to hit my rev limter with that.....that was 84.6mph.
