Hey guys, i just sent Pro Armor a comment / question about them makin stuff for the DS, for us DS owners we are kind of limited in the accessories selection, far as nerf bars, heel guards, and pro peg nerf bars are concerned, and after my last encounter with AC i dont want to buy another product from them, but they have the only real nice set of pro pegs out there, i looked over a set of the pro armor pro peg nerf bars my cousin got for her '07 400ex and they are really nice! So if anyone else wants to drop Pro Armor a line maybe we can encourage them to make more parts for the DS

 

I too emailed Pro Armor (2X), after my run in with my AC nerfs. Got the typical "not enough demand" & "DS650 is a disontinued model". It would be great if they made nerfs and stuff, as I think Pro Armor has some of the best stuff out there.

I emailed about the renegade 500 a while back and my reply was a very point blank - NO

 

I just got an email back from them, Fred, and they said they are working on the 450 right now and weighing options for the DS, i asked what it would take to get the pro peg nerf bars made, even if they are a custom order, id be willin to pay the extra $ and NOT use the AC pro pegs, we'll see what he says...

 

Nick, if Fred-O says they will do a custom order, tell him you got another 100% buy. I will jump on that in a heartbeat.

Chris, i just heard back from him, he said they are not set up to do custom orders, since they mass produce, and a price for such a thing is in the thousands lol, but hes going to send my email across the board and push my issue for parts for the DS, he said to check back with him later, im not holding my breath lol. So i sent an email to TPR for some custom parts, we'll see what they say
