Do they make 23" tall tires for desert? would you use 23 or 25" fronts?

 

Tallest I've seen are the 22' Holeshot XCT for the rear and the 23" Holeshot XCT for the front. Seems that the actual tire is 22" not including the lugs. They look like they add quite a bit of ground clearance.

 

Are you running the XCTs Vic?

My 22in Maxxis All Traks are only 20.25 at the carcass. I think I will have to get the XCTs next time around, but these stupid All Traks wear like iron.

ITP Trac Stars come in a 23/22 combo too. Dont care to much for the fronts but the rears are nice. They hook up very well. Not as good as the XCTs on on hard pck, but better than the XCTs on the loose stuff, IMHO.

 

Not running them on either DS yet, they are on my wife's KFX 700. Still have way too many trips left on my dirt tires to swap out anytime soon. They are what will go on when the time arrives though. The XCT's have alot of meat on the ground.

 

looking for as much ground clearence the quad can use, im guessing teh heel rest will have to be removed also.
