Keep in mind the DS90 is a stock 4 stroke...I don't think its gonna be anywhere near a two stroke with the performance mods you have done to your LT80..It may not even have the same power as a comparable sized two stroke.....I have no personal experience with the DS this is just what I've seen with 4 stroke vs 2 stroke mini's in general....

I found a gray wire at cdi box and unpluged it,WORLD of differance must have been retard timing or somthing like that. Also removed sparky and added a headlight on bar mount, its coming together. Im also going to add a uni filter,by then Ill have to re jet. That will get me by till aftermarket parts are availible.

I bought one last week paid $3450 out the door in las vegas. igot it for my 3 year old son for x-mas. I drove it around the block but didnt notice it to be slow .i got it stashed at a buddys garage i will have to give it another run.

My buddy just got one for his 6 yr old, it will run circles around the honda 90 and the sprortsman 90 that were purchased this year. I have not seen it run, but he says the thing is extremely fast with his son on it. They are going to race it. I spoke with the dealer that sold this same bike and they seem disappointed in it's performance. I don't know what to think as I haven't seen it run. I will tell him about the gray wire though.

Has anyone been able to locate any restrictors on this bike? Have you tried removing three of the six variator wieghts? I just bought one for my son and the dealer said the restrictor was in the clutch but I checked and nothing was their. I disconnected the grey wire but it still doesn't run all that fast and it takes a bit for it to get going.

Yea, Gray wire makes BIG diff. I have also did some air box work since last post made a differance in sound at exaust pipe, dont want to make big changes before x-mas. Keep a good check on rear hub bolts mine came loose & 2 more @ dealership have came loose also. Keep posting as I find more stuff later ............

Yeah, I read in a previous post about the grey wire. That was my first successful performance mod. I also took off the exhaust spark arrestor. Now it sounds like it looks....COOL. Looks like I'll have to start looking at clutch springs, variator wieghts and cams to get the CVT to hook up better. Atleast thoughs are faily cheap compared to say an exhaust and jet kit.
