I usually get 120psi compression when turning over with starter, without disabling auto compression release mechanism. if you are only getting 70psi then something must be wrong somewhere</end quote></div>
where is the "auto compression release mechanism" this might be my problem

i wasn't saying you had them out, but your symptoms sound like the one other have had when there timing was 180 out, and most thought they had it on until they rechecked. are you positive the piston is a tdc? that is where other got off track.

well got it all back togeather yesterday.. i had two warped valves runs great now.thaks for any help but i have to ask what is the noise it is a clicking sound when your at higher rpms you pull the clutch in and it stops making the noise even if you rev it up..is this normal? the drive chain it tight. timing chain has no slack motor is all fresh it has done this since we bought it last year.

did you have the cam gears off?</end quote></div>
That sounds like the cam chain tensioner has gone bad.
