I just got a 2007 Catalog from them and they have in there an Enhancer Kit for the DS650, anyone heard about or have this?
Heres what the catalog says about it:
The MSD Enhancer for the DS allows you to optimize the ignition timing and receive a spark with twice the energy of stock. The enhancer replaces the stock CDI and Coil. Once your initial timing is set up you can change the timing curve between 25* and 32* with the dip switches for ease of tuning. You can also set the rate at which you want the timing to come up to full advance. There is an adjustable holeshot feature that can improve your reaction time and help consistent launches. The kit comes complete with CDI, Twin Tower coil, 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wires and mounting hardware.

 

It's been around for several years. Works great, just a little big and bulky. It has an ignition timing retard feature if you are running nitrous, etc. If I remember right from when I bought mine, they are a little pricey.

 

If you have the kms injection the msd is not an option it pulls to many amps and will not work properly for the injected nitrous bikes but for standard systems it dose a great job.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

no i am def not adding any more to the Baja, but i now have the Baja X that will need upgrades, saw the catalog and thought id get some input on the product

 

The features like stuter starts for racing and nitrous set up are awesome and the Rpm adjustable timing is ahead of the rest by far.And it is not any more pricey then any of the rest of the top of the line ings.like vortex and ron woods i havent bought the woods in years but it used to be in the 400 plus range and the vortex was within a couple of dollars of the Msd.good luck on a new build.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

i really like it cause its got spark plug wires to go with it, i've never seen that with ATV parts, only really on my CBR stuff cause thats typical for bikes
