Anybody going to be in Glamis this weekend? Me and 3 other buddies from Utah are taking the long drive to get a break from the snow and get a little winter sand fix. We would love to ride with anyone, esspecially more DS's. I'm the only one in our group with a DS. Also it would be fun to ride with someone who knows Glamis. None of us have been there. We will be there from Friday moring until Monday. We can't wait!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Have you been to Glamis at all before? There are a number of downloadable maps with GPS cood. on them. I suggest joining glamisdunes.com and getting some of their maps, and also hook up with folks on there, there are lot of folks that are out every weekend.

I am heading north to Barstow this weekend, but I would have like to have hooked up with you, because I want to look into getting a DS, and really have no experience with them. I currently ride a KFX 700.

Well we're getting ready to hit the road for Glamis and we can't wait. We should have a good couple of days of riding with Big Ray to show us around the place. I'll let everyone know how it goes and try to post some good action shots. Peace out!

If it involves Glamis and BigRay then China Wall will deinitely be on the agenda. China is nowhere near the biggest hill at the Mother G. There a quite a few larger ones but you are at your own risk in visiting them. Gotta explain to the man why you are there, but they can't go out there either so...

I'll try and join you guys but we've got six or seven trips coming up in the near future and I have to make some honey do deposits before all of those withdrawls. We'll see.

 

The first day has been awesome. We've been having a blast. We got a good few hours of riding today. I'm at a hotel in Brawley and it's time to go to bed so, I'm out.

 

Sounds like you had a blast saw the pics on the other site looks great.

Definately get a DS650 man. And get a Baja version 03 or newer and you can't go wrong.
