I want through the same problem. I changed the regulator, was getting ready to change the stator. So I took all the plastic off of the 4 wheeler. When I took the regulator off again I followed 2 of the wires to a plug that had a fuse in it. The fuse was blown so I changed the fuse and it started charging like it should. I didn't even know that there was a fuse there so I hope this helps someone else.
