nitrous is another thought if you don't need to win all the time, it makes for a great power booster

Stay away from the Turbo though. They are a freakin headache to keep running well

I would recommend going to a big bore 730 if you decide to keep the DS. I think at your weight/size you would be happier with a higher torque 730 build than a high HP/high RPM stock bore

Default Quadzilla or Ds650 for drag race?!! HELP

I had the KMS build with KMS porting kibbel white shim under bucket set up 10.5 to 1 piston 45MM carb Ron woods CDI and Ron woods race pipe with the 520 conversion I was pulling 60HP on the KMS dyno in the middle of the summer it was about 110 Deg outside I was 6" over on my swingarm and running 25" 10 paddle extremes it pulled like a freight train and would outrun 90% of the bikes in a drag or at the hill without using the nitrouse. On the gas it was 80 HP the only bikes that would beat me were bikes that were in the drag bike only class. I still duned mine on a regular basis and I was running aviation fuel not trick or alchohol like most of the guys who beat me.

Also you could contact Jerry Hall of Halls precision racing # 623-931-8132 he is getting some huge HP numbers out of the LT 500's and he will let you know up front the HP # you will get before you pay any money out.

Actualy in yuma arizona there is a gentalman by the name of edwardo he owns A&E racing. He is in most of the photo shots from the FSC he builds a 720 on gas that is simply the fastest i have yet to see. If you are intrested i can get you a # he was pulling my my noss 3 STAGES by two bikes on olds. The one he beat puts out 72 hp on spray. He has left a great impression on me.And yet is very reasonable. The bike he was beating on a normal day at the dunes had never been beat by any 4 stroke.And has pulled off a 5.0 second pass. the key words to remember here is a 720 on gas. Also there is TVI Gary is still building and builds a very dependable motor. i do not have a 720 but i have one of his 800's on gas and only big banshees need apply.
