It will be a great improvement on your bike, but I would spend the extra and get the head and intake ported to let those cams breathe. IMO

Yup, he should get a ported intake from RW with the carb, and you can get pretty good port jobs for around 400 bucks, unless u want bigger valves.

if you don't tune it right it might be slower, but put all things together correctly and it is a nice improvement. seems there are some piston that are improvements, seems they are lighter.

Thanks for the info it really helps when you can talk to people who have it instead of just the one selling it. I think that I will order real soon approx how many hours to install or what is the cost for labor ball park price.

02. thats probably what i would say your opion is worth.Im not knocking eric here im knocking that unknowlegable answer.Ron woods and pami have more trophies then all the other builders of ds engines put together and that im saying each as a single enity.if you have a good bulder and do good setup you will be happy. longevity and endurance tell the truth period.

A Stage II build + porting is one of my favorite builds.

You will notice a huge difference.

Just watch out. . . some of the newer breed of bikes are pretty fast with the standard pipe and filter.

You should be able to give them a good run though.

Do the porting while you have the head off of there. You'll like the results.
