it ran pretty good for about a month and all of a sudden it quit while in use i did a spark check and found there wasnt one so i took it to the shop and they have had it three weeks and it still doesnt work they have changed the coil and didnt fix problem there are a few more parts they have to try. is this a common thing for such a new machine? i havent even made a payment on this thing yet im not at all happy with this purchase 2600.00

 

Have taken ours to dunes four times and have had problems every trip. Burning oil, leaking oil(head and bottom of motor), overheating caused bolts to blue and back out, melting crankcase breather tube, oil in same tube got air filter clogged caused bike not to run, poor air intake system allowed sand and dust into carb, intake and exhaust ports had to be adjusted unproper clearances, so many things I can't even remember all of them. This weekend bike ran good for first two days and third day wouldn't run. Hit throttle, bike bogs and stalls. Think its probably carb issues again. Can am is sending tech gasket kit for bike to tear down motor to figure out issues. Both are aware of issues with this bike since its been in four times for major problems. Last time can am was notified about bike tech was told they were having problems with bike. this time story has changed and the guy at can am said his son got one and he has no problems. My daughter is 8 and is a small kid. I know she rides hard but these bikes should be able to handle the dunes.

 

Haven't heard very many positive things about these bikes from anyone. My buddy got his kid the DS90X and it is acting up as well.
