Default DS650 -- ball joint

Hi,

I have a DS650 BAJA X 2007

Is anyone the 'real' part number of upper and lower ball-joint for A-Arm ? They are made by MOOG.

I don't want to buy from dealer, they are asking 150$ each !

I can have a ball joint for a Toyota as little as 25$ ...

Thanks!

Bike bandit has them for 108 and some change for OEM. That is the best place to get OEM always cheaper than the dealer.

some guys have had luck taking parts to a auto parts house and the cross reference the numbers and find the parts. rear axle bearings and water pump seals are a few things that come to mind.

Even though it has a Moog # you can't buy aftermarket. I went through the same thing a few years ago. I spoke to moog and they told me they are built and sold to Bombardier only.

I ended up getting 4 new A arms for the price of 4 ball joints.

I bought the a-arms from Rocky Mountain. They were Armadillo and came complete with new ball joints for about 450 bucks.

My bike is a 2000 Ds650 and it rode a whole bunch better beacause these arms are camber adjustable as well.

Thanks!
